The Festival integrates the entourage of Portugal and will have daily screenings of short films at the Pavilion of Portugal, from a program for which 24 short films on the theme of water were selected and that competed in the last 4 editions of the festival (2018 - 2021) .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\">On the first day of the Forum, Madalena Cunhal and M\u00e1rio Branquinho, representing the municipality of Seia and the festival board, will make a presentation of CineEco and its 27-year journey in promoting environmental values through cinema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\">It should be recalled that the Seia festival had already participated in the World Water Forum held in Brasilia in 2018 and is now back on the programme of the Pavilion of Portugal, highlighting the contributions of art, in this case cinema, to raise awareness and education on environmental issues and, in this case, on water issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\">Under the theme \"Water Security for Peace and Development\", the event, held for the first time in Sub-Saharan Africa, intends, according to the organization, \"to become a platform for professionals and decision makers to accelerate the priority of ensuring access to water and sanitation for all\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\">Promoting the national presence is the DAKAR Task Force, which includes representatives from the Secretary-General for Environment, Portuguese Environment Agency, Regulatory Authority for Water and Waste Services, Portuguese Partnership for Water, Portuguese Association for Water Distribution and Drainage, \u00c1guas de Portugal International, in addition to the Embassy of Portugal and the AICEP Delegation in Dakar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\">As in previous editions, Portugal will present the competences of the Portuguese water sector and its capacity for internationalisation, namely by affirming the relevant role of Portuguese language cooperation in this sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/arquivo.cineeco.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/catalogo-FMA_Curtas-CineEco.pdf\">WWF SHORT FILM CATALOGUE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CINEECO 2022 CineEco presente no F\u00f3rum Mundial da \u00c1gua em Dakar, com Mostra de Curtas O CineEco vai estar presente no F\u00f3rum Mundial da \u00c1gua, que decorre em Dakar, no Senegal de 21 a 26 de mar\u00e7o com uma Mostra de Curtas-metragens sobre a tem\u00e1tica da \u00c1gua.
