She is a senior researcher at the Functional Ecology, Science for People and Planet Centre, Coimbra University (CFE-UC), where she created and coordinated the Societies and Environmental Sustainability Research Group. Her scientific production strives to articulate the different disciplinary perspectives that emphasise the complementary and interdependent dimensions of socioecological and sustainability phenomena, as well as deepening the contribution of social studies. In addition to the main topical areas in which she has carried out her research between health and the environment, she highlights the dimensions that intersect both disciplines, namely socio-ecological relations, knowledge-power relations, lay rationalism, governmentality, interdisciplinarity and interculturalities. He is a Film Professor at Beira Interior University (UBI), where he supervises the Master\u2019s Degree in Cinema and is a member of LabCom \u2013 Communication and Arts. He has a PhD in Contemporary Studies obtained at Coimbra University and is carrying out a PhD project on Film, Colonialism and Capitalism in the Contemporary Art Studies Post-Graduate Programme of the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF, Brazil). He belongs to the organising committee of the Portuguese Language Film Sessions of the Post-Colonial and Peripheral Cinema Working Group of the AIM (Association of Moving Image Researchers). He coordinated <em>Aniki: Revista Portuguesa da Imagem em Movimento (Portuguese Moving Image Magazine)<\/em> from 2018 to 2020 and the <em>Cinema<\/em> magazine produced by the Portuguese Film Societies Federation from 2018 to 2020. He is the programmer of the Guimar\u00e3es Film Society and the Vila do Conde Short Film Festival. He is the technical director of <em>Minho Film Commission<\/em> and collaborates with the producer Bando \u00e0 Parte. President of the International Federation of Film Societies (IFFS), an organisation that brings together national film society federations and non-commercial cinemas from every continent and has also been president of the Portuguese Federation of Film Societies (FPCC). He has been on the panel of judges of support programmes for the Institute of Cinema and Audio-visuals (ICA), as well as numerous national and international festivals.<br>\nHe was one of the founders of the Cineclube of the University of \u00c9vora and director of FIKE \u2013 International Short Film Festival, in its first thirteen editions and as a programmer at several festivals. He developed research work in the area of Cinema History, coordinating and co-authoring several projects in this area. After starting to work in fish population management, he joined Lipor where he began his journey in the area of Environmental Education and Awareness.<br \/>\nLater he created and coordinated Lipor's Sustainability Office, implementing Local Agenda 21 projects, Sustainability projects and projects in the area of Social Responsibility, namely the implementation of the SA8000 standard.<br \/>\nHe was a professor at the Escola Superior de Ci\u00eancias e Tecnologias da Sa\u00fade, at the Polytechnic of Porto, where he taught Waste Management.<br \/>\nHe was in the United States for four years where he worked at the \u201cHouston Museum of Natural Science\u201d and the \u201cMuseum of Fine Arts, Houston\u201d in the areas of training, educational support and visitor support. He returned to Lipor in 2014, currently joining the Communication, Marketing and Sustainability Unit, where he is responsible for managing internal and external communication support.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cineeco.pt\/2020\/imagens\/juri\/regina_round.png\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventolongo\">\n<p><strong>Regina Babo _Portugal, Professora na Escola Secund\u00e1ria de Seia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventos\">\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Regina Babo, a graduate from the Sports and Physical Education Faculty of Porto University (specialised in high-performance training in athletics), has been a Physical Education and Sports Teacher for 35 years, at Seia Secondary School. As a sportswoman, she was an athlete for 13 seasons (1974-1987), representing the Portuguese national team, Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Futebol Clube do Porto and Santa Clara de Coimbra, among others. She was an athletics coach for 19 seasons (2000-2019).\nShe has always shown interest and taken part in a range of activities linked to environmental issues.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cineeco.pt\/2020\/imagens\/juri\/franscisco_round.png\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventolongo\">\n<p><strong>Francisco Mesquita _Portugal, professor universit\u00e1rio e performer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventos\">\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Francisco Mesquita has a PhD obtained at the Communications and Art School, of S\u00e3o Paulo University, and obtained a PhD and Master\u2019s at Minho University, and Advertising Engineering Degree at the Fernando Pessoa University.<br \/>\nHe is a teacher and researcher at the Fernando Pessoa University, lecturing Advertising, Design, Creativity and Innovation, in the Undergraduate and Master\u2019s courses, and coordinates Post-Graduate courses in Marketing, Advertising and Design for SMEs.<br \/>\nHe has had several books published, including Admir\u00e1vel Moda Sustent\u00e1vel \u2013 vestindo um mundo novo (Admirable Sustainable Fashion \u2013 dressing a new world), written in conjunction with Madeleine Muller. He has had several articles and talks published.<br \/>\nHe is the joint inventor of two patents for billboards that change colour, depending on the environmental conditions, using intelligent materials.<br \/>\nHe uses these intelligent materials to produce interactive visual art works, which incorporate the temporal dimension, positioning them between photography and cinema. As such, he has dedicated himself to disseminating and promoting films produced by Portuguese-language countries as a curator, media officer, judge, talker and trainer in event production for Festivals.<br \/>\nThrough FESTin he has presented several Portuguese language film showcases all around the world, namely in East Timor, Singapore, Italy, Germany, Tunisia, Angola, Cape Verde, S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 e Pr\u00edncipe, Guinea-Bissau, Cuba, Brazil and the Dominican Republic. This work earned him the Lusophony personality Award 2019, in the Theatre and Cinema area.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cineeco.pt\/2020\/imagens\/juri\/hamilton_round.png\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventolongo\">\n<p><strong>Hamilton Trindade _ S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 e Pr\u00edncipe, Diretor do S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 Festfilm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventos\">\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Hamilton Trindade was born in S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 e Pr\u00edncipe in 1983 and came to Aveiro in Portugal to study in 2005, where he completed the Agricultural Production Techniques course and graduated in New Communications Technologies (Aveiro University).<br \/>\nHe took part in social television projects aimed at the university community and produced and directed his first short film (Iberia), as a collective effort.<br \/>\nHe has been the president of ASSECOM-CA (S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 and Pr\u00edncipe Association of Entertainment and Multimedia, Cultural and Artistic Communication) since its creation in 2011. He is part of the Estarreja Film and Theatre production team, in charge of film projection. In 2014 he created the International Film Festival of S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 e Pr\u00edncipe (S\u00c3O TOM\u00c9 FESTFILM) by ASSECOM-CA, aimed at boosting film making in S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 e Pr\u00edncipe and to put the country on the worldwide cinema map. He has been a member of the panel of judges in several national and international film festivals. In 2017 he directed his first documentary Sonho Long\u00ednquo no Equador (Long Dream on the Equator).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cineeco.pt\/2020\/imagens\/juri\/anabela_round.png\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventolongo\">\n<p><strong>Anabela Sardo _ Portugal, ESTH \u2013 Seia \/ IPG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventos\">\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Anabela (Oliveira da Naia) Sardo is a professor at the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality at the Instituto Polit\u00e9cnica da Guarda, Portugal. She has a doctorate in Portuguese Literature, a master's degree in Portuguese Studies and a degree in Teaching Portuguese and French. He was a secondary school teacher from 1986 until 1991, when he entered Polytechnic Higher Education, having started teaching at the Higher School of Education, Communication and Sports of the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda (IPG) and, from 2000, at the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality. Since 2009, she has been Director of this School, a position she held until January 2015. She has been part of the School's Technical-Scientific Council since 2002, and is serving her 3rd term as president of this body. She is part of the ESTH Pedagogical Council, having been president of the body for two terms. He was a member of the IPG General Council from 2008 to 2016. He is an integrated member of the Interior Research and Development Unit (UDI) and was part of the founding team of the \u201cSerra da Estrela Tourism Observatory\u201d, based at ESTH\/IPG. She was also a founding member of the AICL-Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional dos Col\u00f3quios da Lusofonia, having been a member of the Permanent Scientific Committee of this association since 2013 (triennials 2013 \u2013 15 and 15 \u2013 17). In addition to the research she has been carrying out in the area of Portuguese Literature, specifically regarding the work of writer Ana Teresa Pereira, she also carries out research in the area of Portuguese Culture, within the scope of what is known as Cultural and Literary Tourism. He was Portuguese champion in 15 different Athletics disciplines and has won the Sports Merit Award (Seia municipality) and the Student\u2019s Award (National Department of School Sports).<br \/>\nAs someone who is in contact with Serra da Estrela and involves himself in nature, he became aware of environmental conservation issues from a very early age.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cineeco.pt\/2020\/imagens\/juri\/rafaela_round.png\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventolongo\">\n<p><strong>Rafaela Tenreiro Saraiva<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventos\">\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Rafaela Tenreiro Saraiva was born in Seia in 1992 and brought up in the city. He graduated in Law at Porto Catholic University, where he later took a Master\u2019s in the same field and a Post-Graduation in Securities Law and Financial Law, at the same teaching institution. He is currently a practising self-employed professional in Seia, where he is also a managing partner of the building materials company Carlos Saraiva &amp; Companhia Lda.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cineeco.pt\/2020\/imagens\/juri\/margarida_round.png\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventolongo\">\n<p><strong>Margarida Cardoso<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventos\">\n<p class=\"rtejustify translation-block\">Margarida Cardoso has a PhD in Ethnomusicology obtained at Aveiro University and is a member of INET-md, at the same university. She has authored several publications such as <em>O Obo\u00edsta<\/em> and <em>Palheta Dupla<\/em> (AVA Musical Editions) and <em>Jos\u00e9 dos Santos Pinto: retrato de um m\u00fasico profissional durante o Estado Novo<\/em> (Edi\u00e7\u00f5es Colibri). She has taught the History of Music at Col\u00e9gio de S\u00e3o Teot\u00f3nio (Coimbra), the Regional Conservatory of Coimbra and Serra da Estrela Professional School (Seia). She is founder of the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Culturxis (Coimbra), correspondent of the Jornal Not\u00edcias da Beira newspaper and member of DaCapo \u2013 Revista Musical Portuguesa magazine. She is currently the Treasurer of Seia Art and Image Association, where she helps schedule and organise several cultural initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cineeco.pt\/2020\/imagens\/juri\/gabriel_round.png\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventolongo\">\n<p><strong>Gabriel Batista<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventos\">\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Gabriel Costa Batista is a student at Seia Secondary School. During his time at the Escola B\u00e1sica Dr. Guilherme Correia de Carvalho, from 2013 to 2018, he won academic awards attributed by Seia Municipality as the best 2nd-cycle pupil, awarded in 2016, and the best 3rd-cycle pupil, awarded in 2019. He attended Seia Music Conservatory from 2012 to 2018, obtaining Grade 5 in the classical guitar, earning a distinction award in 2017 from Seia Municipality. He was the presenter of the Mi\u00fados a Votos (Kids to the Vote) ceremony, a Junior Vision contest, in its 1st edition in the academic year of 2016\/2017. He took part in the Escola Dr. Guilherme Correia de Carvalho Theatre club and in the 9th Theatre Initiation Course, organised by Seia Municipal House of Culture.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cineeco.pt\/2020\/imagens\/juri\/maria_round.png\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventolongo\">\n<p><strong>Maria Tavares<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventos\">\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Maria Tavares was born on 17\/02\/2003 in Guarda. She lives in the council of Seia, where she has been schooled. She is currently studying the Languages and Humanities course in the 12th school year. She is a believer in environmental and social causes and enjoys documentaries on these issues. It was her school and her teachers who aroused her curiosity regarding these troubling problems. Some subjects of the school syllabus have enhanced her growing awareness in this area, such as Geography. She plans to continue studying and take a Law degree, and in some way realise her dream of helping to build a better world.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cineeco.pt\/2020\/imagens\/juri\/carlosbesser_round.png\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventolongo\">\n<p><strong>Carlos Besser, DJ Internacional<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"eventos\">\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Carlos Besser is from Serra da Estrela, 25 years old and has had an 8 year career as an International DJ.<br \/>\nHe has already worked from the north to the south of the country, including the Azores archipelago three consecutive times.<br \/>\nHis career stands out for his performances at nightclubs, festivals, university parties, municipal parties and proms.<br \/>\nHis experience on the dance floor includes simultaneous participation in three clubs in the region, Gouveia, Mangualde and Viseu. His biggest audience to date was 5,000 people on the largest artificial beach in Europe - Live Beach. His CV includes the release of two originals of his own production, with which he achieved prominence in the ClubdjPortugal Tops, in addition to other career awards in 2016, 2018 and 2019, from ClubDjPortugal's Top New Djs &amp; Producers.
