Nuno Barros, Lipor
Graduated in Biology, by the Faculty of Sciencies of the University of Porto, in 1996, he has always been connected, for the most part of his professional life, to Environment and Sustainability.
After having started to work on management of fish populations, he joined Lipor where he began his career in the area of Education and Environmental Awareness.
Later he created and coordinated Lipor’s Sustainability Office, implementing Local Agenda 21 projects, and projects in the area of Sustainability and Social Responsability, namely the implementation of the SA8000 standard.
He was a professor in the School of Sciences and Health Technologies, of the Polytechnic of Porto, where he teaches Waste Management.
He spent four years in the United States where he worked in the Houston Museum of Natural Science and the Museum of Fine Arts - Houston, in the areas of training, educational support and visitor assistance. He returned to Lipor in 2014, currently integrating the Communication, Marketing and Sustainability Unit, where he is responsible for the management of internal and external communication media.

Rita Saldanha, Jornalista e realizadora de documentários, Lisboa, PT
Rita Saldanha has been a journalist for 30 years. She began at the ‘A Capital’ newspaper, then moved to Correio da Manhã Radio, and she joined RTP in 1992. Working on daily news programmes, she specialised in Portuguese politics, but in 1996 she suggested the environmental programme on RTP, “7 Graus Oeste” (7 Degrees West), followed by “Repórteres da Terra” (Reporters of the Land), and “Bombordo”. “Escrava de Pedra” (Stone Slave) about the quarries in Arrábida Nature Park was her first major television report. “Uivos do Mar” (Howls from the Sea) reporting on the conservation of the sea lions in Madeira is one of her documentaries, and “Em Nome da Terra” (In the Name of the Earth) is a biography about Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles, the father of ecology in Portugal. She directed her first documentary series “Portugal Culto e Oculto” (Cultured and Occult Portugal) about spiritual orders, followed by a the series on the history of Medicine, “A Arte da Cura” (The Art of Curing).

Jorge Vaz Gomes, Ator, Videoartista e Fotógrafo, Lisboa, PT
He lived in Guarda until he was 18 years old, when he started an Environmental Engineering Degree at the Nova University Lisbon. In 2006 he studied filmmaking at ETIC Escola de Tecnologias, Inovação e Criação (Technologies, Innovation and Creation School), in Lisbon, and later Photography at Ar.Co. He has directed television programmes and advertisements and was part of the team that founded Canal Q, where he worked as a director, scriptwriter and actor. As an actor, he has worked with Fernando Vendrell, António-Pedro Vasconcelos, Vicente Alves do Ó and Rita Nunes. He directed the short films “Sobre a mesa” (On the Table), 2010; “O Quarteirão” (The Block), 2015; “Jean-Claude”, 2016, (special mention by the IndieLisboa judging panel); and “mapa-esquisito” (weird map) 2018, (Short film contest of IndieLisboa 2018, best Portuguese film award at the Cinenova festival). He is currently finishing his first feature film, “Soldado Nobre” (Noble Soldier), which involves research on his grandfather who fought in the First World War, and is doing a PhD in Multimedia Art at the Faculdade de Belas-Artes de Lisboa (Lisbon University of Fine Arts) and at the Sorbonne-Nouvelle University.

Cristiana Giustino, Gestora e produtora cultural, Brasil
Cristiana Giustino is a manager and cultural producer with experience in events and content development and production in Brazil, Italy and Portugal. She belongs to the programming teams of FESTin – Portuguese Language Travelling Cinema Festival (Portugal, since 2019) and Agenda Brazil – International Brazilian Cinema Festival (Italy, since 2017). In 2020 she took part in the judging panel of the 6th CineEMA – National Environmental Cinema Festival of Espírito Santo (Brazil). She has done several production jobs at festivals, such as the Brazilian Film Festival of Miami, Brazilian Film Festival of NY, Festival do Rio – Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival, MOTELX – Lisbon International Horror Film Festival and FIKE – Évora International Short Film Festival.

Joaquim Ramos Pinto, Presidente da ASPEA _ Associação Portuguesa de Educação Ambiental
With a bachelor in Primary Education Teaching at the University of Aveiro, an Advanced Studies Diploma at the University of Santiago de Compostela and is currently in the final stage of the PhD Programme in Environmental Education. Teacher on mbility under the protocol between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of the Environment, coordinating Environmental Education projects on a national and European level and in Portuguese-speaking countries. He has been part of the organising and scientific committee of several projects, conferences and congresses on Environmental Education, both nationally and internationally, where he has given several speeches. His projects and research have been published in several books and magazines. He has taken part in numerous committees and working groups, and supervised internships in the areas of Environmental Education, Social Participation, Ecotourism and Cultural Diversity. He is currently the president of the Portuguese Environmental Education Association.

Elisa Bogalheiro, produtora audiovisual, Covilhã, PT
Elisa Bogalheiro was born in 1978 in the city of Covilhã. She has a bachelor in Modern Languages and Literature in the English and German variant at the University of Coimbra. In 2003, she moved to Berlin to study a Master’s Degree in Visual Anthropology and Cinema at Freie Universität. In the German capital she carried out several activities linked to television journalism and audio-visual production, namely in the areas of production, editing and writing news for several Spanish television media outlets as a correspondent for the Europainformación news agency. After a short stay in Panamá, where she worked in content creation for television, she returned to Portugal at the end of 2012, where she currently lives. She has worked between Barcelona and Portugal as an audio-visual producer, cultural organiser and journalist, and has recently turned her hand to cinema production, directing a creative documentary that is in the post-production phase.

Jéssica Maximino
Jéssica Maximino is from Seia, grew up in Serra da Estrela and this is her refuge whenever she needs energy: nature. With a degree in Public-Private Administration from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, she studied Law at the same institution. Master in Management from ISCAC and current postgraduate student in public contracting at CEDIPRE. She grew up linked to the theater in Seia and the fact that she works in the area of public contracting in the city of Coimbra allows her to have access to much of what is happening in the cultural sphere, namely, in the programming of the Convento São Francisco, in the various museums and cultural spaces of the city, its traditions and Coimbra's candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2027.

Hugo Freire
Graduated in the area of Music Production, Hugo Freire is fascinated by audiovisual areas and people. Motivated by his zest for life, he is always looking for new inspiration and knowledge. He takes great pleasure in creating, managing and participating in projects driven by creativity, dedication and dreams. The time he doesn't spend with nature and others, he spends at home exploring the most varied interests (design, editing, games, series, films and good cuisine). He has professional experience in the area of production, events, music and tourism, acquired throughout the country, through participation in musicals, concerts, studio recordings, multi-activities, etc. Currently, he is in the 3rd year of the Degree in Leisure Management and Tourist Entertainment at the Estoril Superior School of Hotel and Tourism (ESHTE) to complement his skills.

Inês Bernardo
Inês Veiga Bernardo, 24 years old, born in Gouveia, is a Communication and Public Relations student at the Instituto Politécnico da Guarda. She has done several photography and video works and is a member of Escola Velha Teatro de Gouveia as an actress, producer and member of the group's supervisory council. Lately, she has been working in the area of sound design.

Diogo Pereira
Diogo Aires Pereira, born on March 6, 1994, from Senense and son of Senense parents, studied in his city until the 12th year. He graduated in Business Management from the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, completed a professional internship in England and is now part of a dynamic team at BLC3, in Lagares da Beira. The pleasure of CINEMA revealed itself very early in his life and he considers that there is no ART like the 7th.

Carolina Ferreira
Carolina Ferreira is in the 12th year, studying Science and Technology, at Escola Secundária de Seia. She studied at the Seia Conservatory, where she completed the 5th degree in plucked viola. More recently, she participated in the making of a short film, entitled “Invasive Species”, as part of the LivingRiver Project, culminating in its release at CineEco.

Marco Cosme
Marco Cosme, 25 years old, lives in São Romão, municipality of Seia. Historian with a degree and master's degree in History from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra, he is currently completing his Master's degree in History Teaching at the same institution. Passionate about the history of society and culture, as well as local heritage, from an early age he developed a particular interest in music, literature and, above all, the seventh art. He has the dissemination and defense of Culture as one of the main core of his civic and social intervention.
