Cláudia Marques Santos
 

A graduate in Communication Sciences and holder of a Master’s degree in Contemporary Culture and New Technologies from the Nova University Lisbon, Cláudia Marques Santos is a freelance journalist whose work has been published in Visão, Público, Observador, Expresso, Diário de Notícias, LER and Setenta e Quatro. She was awarded scholarships from the Pulitzer Center (2023), the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (2019) and the Gabriel García Márquez Foundation (2018 and 2020). With eight colleagues, she formed the first consortium of Portuguese journalists, whose first collaborative investigation focused on online hate speech perpetrated by the Portuguese police force. She is a professor at the Nova University Lisbon and the Lusophone University.

Daniel Oliveira
 

Daniel Oliveira has a master’s degree in cinema from the University of Beira Interior, where he is currently doing a PhD in Media Arts, with a scholarship from the Science and Technology Foundation. He has worked as a critic since 2004, and is a member of the Brazilian Association (Abraccine) and International Federation of Cinema Critics (Fipresci). He has worked for publications such as the Folha de São Paulo newspaper and he was a reporter and cinema critic of the O Tempo newspaper, in Brazil, between 2013 and 2018. He graduated in Media at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), specialising in the History of Culture and Art at the same institution, and has a post-graduation in scriptwriting for Cinema and TV, at the Humber Institute of Toronto. Since 2023 he has been a voting member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which hands out the Golden Globe awards annually.

Tiago Alves
 

Radio presenter, journalist, cinema promotor and programmer. He has coordinated and presented CINEMAX since 2005, dedicated to cinema news and programming, online, which is transmitted on the Antena 1 radio channel, and also presents short-film sessions on TV channel RTP2. He organises, programmes and presents Shortcutz Ovar and is part of the team of curators of CineEco. For two decades he wrote regularly for the magazine Visão, the Jornal de Notícias newspaper and the digital magazine Metropolis.
